Kevin – great catching up with you (albeit briefly) during the CMA’s! Thanks for a great video blog series on the industry, too. Just now getting a chance to view them all.
As we discussed… what you and I have known as “S.O.P.” in radio/records for 15 or 16 years is quickly becoming obsolete. I wish more people had insight from someone like you as they guide the new artists to radio – especially on small indie labels. There are so many little mistakes made that can really change the course of a single’s success or failure. You have the rare knowledge of both sides of the industry.
P.S. – I’m on twitter now, too. Thanks for the tip! Let’s keep in touch… You’re my new media “guru”! I’ve already learned a lot.
